Challenge #51 Anything Goes

Created two cards using Stenciled Rose Card, one for a birthday card and the 2nd card as a anniversary card (which came along at a good time - son and daughter-in-law celebrating 15 years of marriage.)

The first card the stencil was cut out using poster board and layered onto a fancy scalloped-edge mat from SilhouettteAmerica Online Store and sponged with a retired ink pads from Close to My Heart -
  1. Cranberry
  2. Blush
and from Stampin! UP
  1. Wild Wasabi Ink Pad
  2. Ribbon - from my Stampin! Up stash of ribbons
Pink gemstones from my personal stash.

I hand punched the tag and placed over some ink stains when I was sponging the edges with Cranberry from Close to My Heart.

2nd card:

I cut the Stenciled Rose and placed a red circle under the cut out rose.  Laid the leaves on top of the mat; and stamped the sentiment in the corner, placed a pink gemstone in one corner of the mat.  Now to locate a inside sentiment for anniversary and  it'll be ready to mail out.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me and happy crafting to all.

Challenge #45 Anything Goes

I'm home and submitted this late for the challenge over at Creative Cutting Challenge.  Thought I had the photos on my flashdrive, and than realized that I hadn't photographed the Envelope Mini-album. And than I finally found the project sitting on the desk; completed it and took photos of it.

This is the front cover of the mini-album and used the cut file from The Creative Pointe .

I would post the whereabouts of the Envelope Mini-envelope but not sure if it was from youtube.com or from reading a blog.  I remember it had 4 envelopes used to put together and to decorate as you would like

Here is photos of the pages:

And another photo of this showing the insert being pulled out...

Christmas photos taken while I was in El Paso, Texas visiting with my son and family.  Later, when I catch up on things around here, I will add more inserts, and place photos in the frames.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me; and please take a moment and visit Creative Cutting Challenges to view the DT projects, and play along with us in Challenge #45.

First Challenge at Creative Cutting Challenges - Anything Goes

Hey there, we're back for another year of challenges at Creative Cutting Challenges and our first challenge is Anything Goes.  I elected to create a scrapbook page of my beautiful granddaughter, and used the title, "Be-You-tiful' by The Creative Pointe

Cutting file

Supplies used:
  • 12x12 card stock for base of scrap page
  • Photo I opened up in photo editing software, using a cluster frame from PixelScrapper Digital Scrapbooking
  • Flowers from a flower swap found on Facebook page
  • Design paper from personal stash
  • I created the banner tag, and punched the bottom border with a Martha Stewart hand punch.
  • using my white gel pen, I 'stitched' the edges of mat
  • beads on top border from personal stash.
  • Silhouette Cameo used for cutting file and framed image of granddaughter.
Tried to keep the layout simple for granddaughter's scrapbook.  The photo was taken of her, by her mother, while in Korea during the winter weather.

Thank you for stopping to visit with me, and take a moment and go visit Creative Cutting Challenges for introduction to new DT members, and more inspirational creations.  And join us in the 'Anything Goes' Challenge (using your cutting machines)

Challenge - Anything Goes

Mini-Album

For this challenge, I used the Eiffel Tower from the Travel Set by Creative Pointe.   I covered a 5x7 (approx) piece of chipboard with burlap fabric.

I cut out the Eiffel 2 x's, one in black cardstock and adhered to white poster board to pop up on the covered front.  The titled design paper is from SilhouetteAmerica Online store which I printed and cut out the title Paris.  Flowers and end decorative corners from Michaels; and the ribbon I used my bow-maker to create.  Scalloped edged ribbon layered on the top and bottom edges of title, and placed brads in the corners.

It is not yet finished as I plan to bind with kraft colored duck tape and than will finish adhering the ribbon along the left edge.  Insides of mini-album is  5x7 black envelopes (approx.) from a tutorial found on youtube.com by Kathy Orta (http://www.paperphemenon.com)  creating this phenomenal mini-album.

Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting.  Please join us at Creative Cutting Challenge  for this challenge.

Saturday, Anything Goes

Hi, Carolyn here with another crafty Saturday, and I have been working on one-page layouts for the great grandkids albums; and since my granddaughter decorated her daughter's room with Ladybugs, I created a layout with ladybugs and flowers.

TIP:  when using spray adhesive be careful that residue does not get on front of piece being glued; if so use one of the embellishments to 'hide' the look of the glue.

Supplies used:
  • Silhouette Design Edition software used for cutting pieces
  • Big brads given to me from my sister
  • ribbon from my stash
  • 12x12 cardstock from Joann Fabrics
  • The layout file from
I enjoyed creating this layout and actually have another ladybug layout in the works.  Thank you for stopping to visit with me today,  Happy crafting, and hugs to all xoxo

Another Step Card

Hi, Carolyn here to share a Wedding Card for the Saturday, Anything Goes.

Wedding Card

I used a Basic Single Step Card for the design.  I place the Wedding cake on the top tier of the step card, and the Silhouette Wedding Couple on the second tier.  Stamped the sentiment  "Congratulations” on a piece of white card stock and placed on the front step.  Added pearls on each end; and the flowers placed on cake from the sewing department of Walmart.

I hope your enjoyed today's project too. If you have a question, please leave it in the comments, and a DT member will get back to you. Scrapper's Delights - Anything Goes

Wood Elfling

Supplies used:

Digi images:

Wood Elfling
Mushroom
Hammerhill Digital Paper used for printing the design paper - snowflakes found in a Internet search.
Brads from Stampin! Up
gemstones from personal stash.
Coloring:  used Stampin! Up markers for mushrooms and the Elf, plus Copic marker for the skin tone.

I first printed design onto my Hammerhill Digital paper which I love, love and love as the colors is so sharp and clear.  Prior to printing, I placed a few snowflakes from the Wood Elfling file from Scrapper's Delights Store.

I print and cut the Wood Elfling image onto white card stock, colored, and than created a offset of the digi image to place as a background shadow.  Plus I cut the shadow piece again onto poster board to give it some dimension; and applied foam tape to adhere to the card.  Merry Christmas is a sentiment purchased from the Silhouette America Online store which I added to the paper before printing out.

Come on over to the challenge at Scrapper's Delights Challenge Blog and join in the challenge fun.  Thank you for stopping by to visit with me, and hugs to all xoxo.
