Challenge over at ScrapbookingwithMe for May, 2021

I follow Ms E of Scrapbooking With ME video tutorials and on her Facebook page. For the month of May I am participating in her May challenge, creating a journal page with pockets on each page.

I chose to create two per page, and created a couple tags. The tag on left page of the girl holding a umbrella is from Scrapper's Delight for their April Challenge.

2nd tags is from Junk Journal Inspirations, and the page itself is from the Bee Journal using a coffee stained paper to place the layout onto.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me this evening. Now to bed as tomorrow is a day of traveling to Ft Wayne for a visit to Costco and than Red Lobster for a Mother's Day dinner with the family. God Bless all.

Colorwayarts online instruction

From March 16 thru March 19 I attended a online class presented by Colorwayarts.com creating the following box:

                                                                        Front of Box

                                                                        Back of box

                                                                Ends of box

The finished project.  Fabric I used to cover this box is what I had in my stash that was used for the face masks made for this "stupid" virus, so they don't actually match but ....

What was used to create this box:

Left over fabric in my stash
PVA glue and later Elmer's Glue All
Lace I purchased at Dollar Tree for 1.00
The kit I purchased from https://www.colorwayarts.com/

I was a fun project to create and my step daughter will hopefully enjoy it.  I am planning to make at least one more for my son's oldest daughter.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today.

A Recipe Book

Good morning one and all on a cloudy Sunday morning here in Indiana.  I am presently working on a recipe book, using a recycled photo album - removed the photos leaving the plastic 4x6 holders to be used for the recipe cards.

I covered the entire front and back of the book with kraft cardstock, and will decorate with the printable paper my step-daughter has chosen for this book.

Here is what I have done so far, and have more to do.

Front cover.  I will be applying wooden letters, spelling Recipes after I paint them.  Plus I will be painting a silicone mould of flowers and placing on right side over the 'chicken wire'.

Pocket on inside of front cover to hold extra recipe cards or whatever she would like to insert inside.  I will be placing a snap on the edge of the envelope flap and placing some embellishments along the edge of the envelope.

The inside back cover I am hoping to place two pockets.

It's coming along and I am enjoying this book.  This is the third or fourth try at making this book, and this will be the final design.

Thank you for stoping by to visit with me today.  Have a blessed day, and God Bless.

March Challenge at Scrapbookong With Me

Tag #1 for the March Challenge over at Scrapbooking with Me creating a pocket out of a toilet roll center.

The pink flower is torn from a print out I purchased from Pink Monarch Print on Etsy.com.  The yellow butterfly is another image I purchased from a seller on Etsy.

I am creating a mini album using a botanical theme and a book metal cutting die.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me.
