Sunsational Stamps Winter Blog Hop - January 25th

Welcome to the first Sunsational Stamps Design Team Blog Hop on January 25 from 9 am to 11 pm CST. Thank you for joining Janet and I to help us celebrate our first design team blog hop.  The theme of this hop is winter.  So sit back with a nice steaming hot cup of cocoa and find your way to each of these blogs for some incredible projects.

I do have a few rules for this hop to support each crafter and the time they have put into their work. In order to be eligible for the blog candy, you MUST visit each blog, leave a comment, become a follower of each blog, and our dt blog at http:// sunsationalstamps.blog spot.com/. The blog candy will be one digital stamp of your choice from http://sunsationalstamps.com.  You can send your choice of digital stamp to ljopeters62@yahoo.com with a subject: dt blog hop and I will send it out to you asap.

If you stumbled through the snow to get to this blog, please make sure to head to the first blog listed so you don't miss any of the fun sledding through the blogs. This hop runs all day long, so you will have plenty of time to make it all the way through the hop. Check out each blog and see what each blog has to offer for their project! After all it's winter and who doesn't like winter.

Now for my project, I made a Twisted Easel Card using "Have a Ice Day". You can find the "Have an Ice Day" penquin file here: Scrapping with Lisa Design

Supplies used:
  • Have an Ice day! digi from Sunsational Stamps
  • Card stock from personal stash
  • Embellishment circles made with Shape Studio punch and acrylic circles.
  • Snowy Tree svg cutfile from Miss Kate Cuttables. At time I got the file, it was a freebie.
  • Adhesive and Copic markers.
  • Twisted Easel Card (video can be found here.)
I located the snowflakes on a Internet search, and brought it into my Abode Photoshop Elements ver. 7 software and created a design paper using 'fill pattern' option.  Quite easy to do, just need to work with it more.  Stamped sentiment 'hello' from a stamp in my stash of stamps.  A fun and easy card to do.

Thanks for stopping by and please head over to the next blog at Marji.
