Challenge - Pop Up Cards

This challenge is sponsored by A Day for Daisies designs... and the digi I used for this challenge is:

and to create a pop-up card and here is my pop-up card.  (Video will follow below on this pop-up card)

Front of Card

Inside of my pop-up card

Okay, I am sharing two techniques here.  The front of the card  is from StampTV video I received in my e-mail on February 12, called Scrappy Background.

A good way to use up your scrap paper, both on the front and in the inside of card.

Now the pop up is not, what I consider, a traditional pop-up.  I cut out the Happy Love Day bunny with balloon twice, and trimmed the balloon from the 2nd Bunny, making him/her the receiptant of the balloon(s).  The carrots was found on the online library of Make the Cut software; and the clipart from the following:

Row of Party Balloons clipart either by Jessica Weible Illustrations
WordArt - Love by Shmooangel Designs (found this clipart on Craft Crave a few days ago)
With the way I done the pop-up this card will be thick so need envelope created specially for it or use a padded envelope.

Here is the two videos to create the Scrappy Background; and the pop up card. (I thought this pop-up card idea came from Sandi Genovese, a well-known scrapper, but was not able to locate the tutorial on her website (w/out becoming a Gold Member!!) so I located one on that is similar/

Thank you for coming by to visit with me today, and hope the two techniques will be of interest to you all.  And please take a moment and head over to Scrapbook Blessings Club for a look see at what the DT have to share; plus join us in this pop-up card challenge.  Happy crafting to all.
