Graduate Sally

This week's project for Sweet Stamping Treats is graduation theme and mine is Graduate Sally which is available at Sweet Stamping Treat Esty Store.

 

 Graduate Sally

Using white card stock and my Cricut Expression I cut a oval in the right side of the card.  I used Abode Photoshop 7 and colored in the background with the diplomas and graduate's hat printed.  I left the oval open..., added oval frames around the oval shape cut.  The image, Graduate Salley I colored and used mineral spirits to blend the color.  Added a ribbon and a sentiment stamped on white cardstock and punched with my oval punch.  Added some bling in the right corner and have a card for a girl graduate next year.

2012 Rocks follow-up

Remember when I shared a free file with you ... the 2012 Rocks.  One follower used the file for her family members graduation and I wanted to share the pic with you of what she sent to me.

 

I will copy and paste her msg here...

  I just cut out your 2012 Rocks and it is going to be PERFECT to decorate my paper cake slices!!! I just hope I have enough white card stock to make all the parts, LOL I purchased the cake file for my nieces wedding next year, so this will be a great time to try it out!  I can fill the slices with small candy pieces and each child can take a piece of the cake home with him and I can put 2012 rocks on the top of each one or every other, what do you think?  Then I will stand up the big 2012 Rocks on the top of the cake with black ribbon going around it (Colors are red and black).  "My" vision is amazing, but just making it look like my vision is a total different ball game, LOL http://mishaps-happen.blogspot.com

Father's Day Shirt Card and Title

for a Father's Day Card or simply lay the card base out on a scrapbook page and place a pic (8x10 or 5x7) on the left side and two small pics in the pocket areas.  And use the titles for the page....

BAP #21 is....

this cute little Boy candy wrapper which I changed to a card base...for a Father's Day card for my son, Andy.  I was going to make 3 of these cards...but after this one....I got worn out from keeping track of all the little bitsy pieces...:-P

 

Now, I am not an artist...hee,hee.  The mouth is goofy looking but my sister, who I ask her opinion of my projects, thinks it is cute.  

Here is what the candy wrapper would look like (i.e. photo is Creative Kuts photo) 

 

Note the fold lines along each side of the boy...this is where it is wrapped around the candy bar.  Now...I could make this and send a Snicker's bar to my son, but Customs may not like it too well...lol.  This file is available at Creative Kuts 2 to purchase.
