Monday's Die Cutting Machines

Good Monday morning to all, and here it is the last day of March.  Where or where is the month gone to?  Before I share my two projects using my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the items, my TIP is:  if a card that you had created is blah, bling it some more....

I chose two of my past projects that I created using the Silhouette Cameo, and I believe, in this case SCAL software to create the baby dress.  I'm not sure where the cupcake pattern came from so I'm not able to give credit where it's due, my apologizes for that.

First photo is of the baby dress I created and than added more bling to it to update the card.  I added baby pearls (SU Pearls) to both sleeves, and where the holes are at hem of the dress I took my Wink by Stella pen (Purple) and colored inside the holes.

Supplies used:
  • My own pattern file for the Baby dress card.
  • Ribbon from stash
  • the small pearls in sleeves; and two down the front from Stampin! Up
  • Wink by Stella glitter pen.
Here is the 2nd card I created using my Silhouette Cameo die machine, and a cut file I am not sure where I obtained.  The card was actually created for my great-grandson, but never got sent...I, instead went up to Indiana for his 2nd birthday party.

Supplies used:
  • Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine
  • Number 2 from SCAL font list
  • beads from my own stash
  • blue brad in center of flowers
Thank you for stopping by visit with us on Monday Die Cutting Machines Day, and happy crafting to all of you.

  • Silhouette Cameo for cutting the Ornate Label, and print and cut the butterfly.
  • Scalloped edge hand punch for the edge of card plus the mat
  • Oval punch for matting

Creative Kuts Recipe Club - Double-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Here is a recipe for a delicious snack....

I have another Recipe Card finished to include with the finished pages for the Recipe book I'm creating.  I believe this is the sixth card that I've completed.  Slow progress !!

I reprinted the recipe onto light tan cardstock and layered on kraft card stock; and this was placed onto orange and white checkered card stockstock, all from my stash.  On the glass I used Vellum paper for the glass, with white cardstock placed under to represent milk.  The cookie is cut out of Kraft, brown, black and red card stock and adhere to the sit on the edge of the glass of milk.  The title is placed on foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me, and hope all of you keeping warm and safe during the weather we're having lately.  Hugs to all...xoxo

Monday - Die Cut Machines

Hi, Carolyn here  to share Monday's Die Cutting Machine project.for Scrapbook Blessings Club; and I chose a project using the Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine...

But first my Tip:  when creating these popup cards, at least with me, trim the inside insert just a tadbit on top and bottom so it will not 'hang' over the edges before adding glue.

So... onto the project:

This is what the outside of the card looks like.  The base for this is also a Sizzix die which has the rounded corners that you insert into slits on back inside of the base.  I used a Martha Stewart hand punch for the bottom and layered with design paper.  Placed small pearls in the circles of the punched area; and the title is a cut file from MyScrapchick

Inside of the card:  cut from a magnetic die with heart combined on the end.  I placed a Stampin! Up ribbon on the one end; and I trimmed with tan strips of card stock on inside folds and one end.  Using Stampin! Up Teeny Words stamps, I stamped Happy Birthday, and placed a small pearl on one end.  I also sponged the coffee with Distress Ink - Tea.  A gift card from Starbucks can be glue-dot on the opposite end of card.

Supplies/equipment used:

This is the die that I used for the coffee cup (and not able to see the heart, but it's there!!)
  • Cardstock
  • Small pearls
  • adhesive
  • design paper
  • Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine
I hope your enjoyed today's project.
