Another Christmas Card

Hanging Kitty

I printed the colored version of Hanging Kitty and was going to create a postcard with this design, but decided to create a card using paper from my stash.  When placing the design onto cardstock, I used one of the sentiments from the set, and mirrored it.  Once it was all printed, and adhered to the cardstock, I took my can of glitter paint and sprayed it to give it some shine.

This is a card I created using a Vintage Christmas image from a google search, using my Silhouette Cameo and Studio DE to print and cut the picture; and adhered to the front of white cardstock.  When I am ready to mail out next Christmas, I will stamp a Christmas sentiment.

Christmas Card - Vintage Challenge

Our Christmas card theme for May is Vintage and with a Internet-Google search I found several vintage Christmas Card images and chose this one for my first card of the month....

I cut a scalloped edge (on just 3 edges) to use as a mat for the image.  I print and cut the image with my Silhouette Cameo Studio DE and placed a ribbon grosgrain ribbon near the right edge.  Once adhered to the mat and card base, I created a bow the easy way.  Nice and quick card to send out to friends or family for this Christmas year.

Thank you for taking time to visit with me today; and please visit Christmas Cards All Year 'Round for more inspiration.  Blessings to all, and happy crafting.

Challenge - Christmas Ornaments

Almost April, and I hadn't been thinking about the posting of this Christmas Cards All Year 'Round Challenge - Ornaments.  This is the card I am sharing with you....

I found this Ornament edge card in a search of the SilhouetteAmerica Online Store and the stamp is from DRS Designs Rubber Stamps.  Layered a red piece of cardstock on inside page and makes a quick Christmas card to send.  In fact, I see using the same base, but changing the printing and cardstock to other Christmas colors.

Take a moment and stop by Christmas Cards All Year 'Round to have a look at what the design team are sharing.  Thank you for visiting with me today, and hope you have a great start to April; and also Happy Easter to all.

Christmas Cards -No Pattern Paper

November 1st challenge at Christmas  Cards All Year 'Round and here is my set of cards without  pattern paper in the design.

I was doodling in Adobe Photoshop Elements ver. 12 a few weeks back, and remembered I had some Christmas brushes so created the above cards on white card stock.  Since this is a project with no patterned paper I printed and cut directly to the card stock.  There is Liquid beads in several areas of the tree representing ornaments; along with clear beads in a few of the snowflakes.  (Little difficult to see).

I will have another Christmas card to share with you the 15th of November, so stop on back and have a look.  Thank you for stopping by to visit with me and may you all have a super crafty day.

Mid-September Inspiration - Christmas Scene using Kraft

It is time for another inspirational card for Christmas All Year 'Round and I chose the stamps set from D.R.S. Designs for a card layout.

Sometimes I decide to use something that is sitting in my craft storage bin; and this time I dug out my, I don't know what you call it, but it makes the card base look corrugated like a cardboard box.  I had a left-over piece of red card stock in my stash I used to layer over the base.  Placed the cut out snow globe with the stamped images inside the globe to give it the appearance of a snowy-city.  Water colored the base of snow globe with distressed ink - Tea Dye which I love.  Placed a red ribbon over the base with silver brads on each end.  Also placed silver brads (Stampin! Up) on the 2 corners of red mat.  I stamped Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Words set by Stampin! Up and punched out with the word punch.  Added silver liquid pearls to represent snow flakes in the globe.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me and hope I inspired you with my creation.  Happy crafting to all.

Mid-month Inspiration at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round - featuring Sparkle and Glitter

This is a oval-shape card that I printed from my Silhouette Studio Design Edition; and than cut it out with my Brother's Scan & Cut.  I did create the scalloped-oval shape easel with the Silhouette Studio Design Edition and cut with the Silhouette Cameo.  Haven't worked with the online software that goes with the Scan & Cut yet!

I used either Frosted Lace Stickles  or Ice Stickles Crystal Ice Glitter Glue to outline the areas where it was glittery in the photo, make it more glittery.  Printed the sentiment onto card stock and print n cut the label with the Silhouette Cameo.  Inserted a brad on each end, adhered to poster board for dimension and foam taped to base of easel card so it will prop the front up.

I also sponged around the edges to complete my project.  And used washi tape across where the card stock meets, or over laps.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me; and have a free moment, head over to Christmas Cards All Year 'Round for more inspiration and to join in the Challenge - Sparkle and Glitter.
