Remember the days when we played with paperdolls, dressing them in fashionable clothes and pretending to be them. Always wanted to create paperdolls for my two youngest granddaughters, but time got away and now they're getting to the age where they wouldn't play with paperdolls. This week's BAP over at Facebook Creative Kuts group page, we received this digi image to color and create. I have some 6x6 sheets of design paper given to me in a goodie bag that I used for the layered look. Used my Edgelits - Adorning Accents #125595 in the Stampin! Up Catalog for the edges on the card base and the layered mat.
Using my Silhouette Studio Design Edition, I print and cut out the paperdoll, but the white area in the arm areas, I cut out with my exacto knife and trimmed along the lines -- very carefully, since I had it already placed together. Took a stamp from a Stampin! Up set (Hello) and stamped in various areas and placed the paperdoll image next to the sentiments. I used the following Copic Markers to color in the image:
#B97 Night Blue
#B95 Light Grayish Blue
#E000 Pale Fruit Pink
# E74 Cocoa Brown
and Black from Stampin! Up markers
The belt, headband and shoes have been glazed with clear gel pen from Sakura.
Cardstock is from Walmart.
Check out Creative Kuts on Facebook and join us in the fun. Thank you for coming by to visit with me today, and blessings to you all.
