Once I seen this image by Pattie, I thought of the Pilgrims and first Indians and the first Thanksgiving , I first printed out the design paper that I found after doing a Internet search (I do not have any Thanksgiving type design paper in my collection of paper!). But before I actually printed the paper, I placed two pumpkins from my Silhouette Library and also the leaves as images and printed the paper 4.25x5.50 to fit a standard card base.
I print and cut the Indian maiden and using my Stampin! Up markers colored the image. I also offset the image 2 x's and cut out, once on poster board to give some dimension to the card. Since the card needed something for added 'pop' I placed a ribbon across the center, and the sentiment was print and cut on a label from my Library of collections. Two brads was added and then placed on the card. The Indian was placed on foam tape to the card.
Supplies used:
Three mats layered in offset sizes to fit card base of 4.25 x 5.50
Orange ribbon from my ribbon stash
Stampin! Up markers
Two small silver brads from Stampin! Up
Thank you for stopping by to visit with me, and hugs to all.
