Mid-month Inspiration - Christmas Ornaments

It's Mid-April already, time for another Christmas Ornament card to share with you ....

All digis I changed to png format, and uploaded into Silhouette Studio DE and grouped together to be a tree branch holding a ornament.  I used Christmas Red from Copics for the bow; and glitter pens from Wink by Stella for the ornament.  The layering of card was just an accident.  I laid the top layer on the red cardstock like shown, and liked it so went with that format.  The 2 mats from my personal stash of paper.  Red gemstones from Wal-mart; and the silver beads from a pkg of phone bling.  Penned in stitch lines using white gel pen.

Thank you for visiting with me today; and hope all have a great tax day!!  Don't forget to do thoses taxes!!..

Cute Christmas Citters Inspirations

Two more Cute Christmas Critters for Mid-March....

Card base is a quilting scrappy look that I learned from viewing a video from StampTV a few weeks ago.  The two 'cute critters' are digital images that I downloaded from the Internet, printed out and colored.  The sentiment, Merry Christmas from SilhouetteAmerica Online Store, that I printed and cut..

Thank you for visiting with me today, and trust you all are having a happy crafty time.

Challenge for March - Cute Critters

Almost March and I almost forgot to post my card for March 1st.  Our theme for March is Cute Critters.  I am sharing two cards I created using a clipart of a fox layered onto scenery I printed onto white card stock.

This snowy scenery and Merry Christmas sentiment is available in the SilhouetteAmerica Online Store.  I placed the background onto 4.25x5.50 white cardstock.  The sentiment was  print and cut using my Silhouette Cameo (unfortunately can not save file as a svg from Design Edition so I can print than cut out using Cricut Design Space.  Their print than cut is so much better - no white on edges showing!!)  Layered the sentiment with foam tape; and the cute fox was adhered to card.

Using the same Fox clipart, I print and cut the card with the sentiment and pine trees.  Also print and cut the Fox again, and layered over the printed Fox giving it some dimension.  I stamped snow flakes throughout the card and presto, I have a nice, simple Christmas card to send next Christmas.

Thank you for taking a few minutes out of your busy crafting day to check out projects.  Come back again for more inspiration from Christmas Cards All Year 'Round   .

Mid-January Inspirational Card

Goodness sakes, it's mid January already, and that means a couple inspirational cards for Christmas Cards All Year 'Round Challenge ....

This is the front of Card #1 for my DT inspirational piece for January.  Using the sketch from MojoMonday 379

I retweaked the sketch just slightly.  Instead of the two small square mats I just used the:
  1. Christmas tree from scrapbook source in my files
  2. Snowman from misskatecuttables
  3. Snowflake embossing folder using Big Shots to emboss
  4. I used Stampin Up markers for coloring the hat, hat brim, carrot nose and scarf.  Also colored in leaves and berries.
  5. Ribbon from Stampin Up
