Birthday Card Challenge at Creative Cutting Challenges

Tea Cup Card

Here is a Tea Cup for a birthday, invitation or anniversary card which is a svg cut file available at

The Creative Pointe for purchase.
Card stock used:

Stampin Up
Wal-mart

Using the Silhouette Cameo Studio Design Edition, I created a print and cut of the tea bag tag and the flowers I printed on yellow cardstock and using the same software, print and cut the cup shape.  Taking the flowers I print and cut from the MyMemories Suite software.  I 'attached' the string by a colored staple to the tag and glued the string to the card.

I love this card; and will be used for either my niece or daughter-in-law ... both have birthdays in March.  I will stamp a sentiment inside before mailing.

Have a blessed day, and thank you for stopping by.

Love Grows

PP-Love Grows

Another Valentine card that I created for my posting for today, Wednesday, January 16, 2013.  I used this cutfile from http://svgcuttingfiles.com/ ... it is part of set.  I cut the red heart as a shape card, but decided to layer the single heart to a white card base.  Than cut out two more hearts of different sizes and layered to the red hear.

In creating the red heart, I joined the shadow of the girl to the heart, and place the girl on it after I put her together.  Stamped 'happy valentine's day' with a rubber stamp from stampinup.com in red, and placed gem stones on the corners.

The card will be going to one of my granddaughters in Korea for Valentine's Day.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

First Challenge for 2013

We are having a Challenge over at http://www.svgcuttingfiles.blogspot.com for 2013...

PP-Love Ewe

I used the file PP-LoveEwe for the first challenge this year.  I created a Rocker card by cutting a scalloped circle that I folded in half to create the rocker.  Than I cut out another scalloped circle and a circle to add to the rocker and layered the Ewe onto it.  I created white stitches around the circle and the red heart and than added some gems to the scalloped edges.

Come on over to http://www.svgcuttingfiles.blogspot.com and join us in this challenge by submitting your cards or layouts to win some goodies.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all.

Challenge #23 Anything Goes

After the holidays and the theme for this challenge is Anything Goes so I chose to create a Explosion Box from a svg cut file from Platypus Creek Digitals.com which was easy to cut.  I cut the main body out of white poster board I purchased at a dollar store...it's 11x14 in size, so really do not need to trim it to fit the cutting mat...I let it hang over the bottom edge when cutting..

My picture is not the best and apologize for this but it was the time of day and taking a picture in the kitchen, at least today, did not work out too well.

Box put together and have a small ribbon attached to it to carry the box.  Rather than glue the flaps on the lid together, I punched a small hole and inserted brads.  Did glue the designer paper to the poster board....

This is the inside of the Explosion box...I used washi tape to accent the flaps and other two sides I added mats.  The center is a flower from a card kit.  The Butterfly is also from the same card kit and I used gems down the center of the Butterfly and popped it up with foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

Valentine's Day - Not a Card

Glass Etching

First one is a glass etching using your hearts that I joined together  ... I was into creating candles this  year, and etched a double heart onto opposite corners.

Hanging Heart Box

Next one is a Heart Shaped Hanging Heart for treats...I used the heart file from Creative Pointe on the front of this Heart Box and placed a pink button in the center of the heart.  The pattern for the heart box is a design by © Juliet Mascarenhas..

Another Heart Shape Box

The next Heart shaped box is...a little different.  I thought it was going to be a square box with a heart closure but turned out to be something similar to the Heart Shaped Hanging Heart....I cut out the Valentine shape, resizing each heart to layer. Once again I used the same file from Creative Pointe

This shows both boxes side-by-side.

Lollipop Cover

Front view.

Back view.

Now last but not least, this is a Lollipop cover...a small covering in the shape of a heart with a heart shape on the front and back that can be included with Valentine Cards for school Valentine parties or for your little ones. This could also be used as topper for a Valentine's Cupcake for school treats. I added a bit of adhesive to the paper around the lollipop and attached to the cover.

Thank you for stopping by visit with me today, and hugs to all.

PP-LB Heart

A Little Birdie SVG Cutting File set

 available at svgcuttingfiles.com

I used a pre-cut card base and with striped design paper I create this Little Birdie with a string holding a heart.  I took the hearts and added to each corner of the card.  On two of the hearts I placed a small gem stone, as well as three in one corner of the mat.

The stamped image is a item I received as a gift from a consultant of Close to My Heart.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs and Happy New Year to all.

My Last project for Dutch Dare

This is my last project for Dutch Dare DT as a Guest Designer and I have really enjoyed myself this past month...

Here is my project for Thursday, Dec. 27th ... Celebration

Challenge: Celebration (New Year, new baby, birthday, new house, engagement...any reason to celebrate!
Sponsor: Crafty Sentiments

A new baby is cause for celebration as it will be for my granddaughter and husband as they're expecting their 2nd child, a girl anytime now.  And this care represents that ... if only the child looking into the crib had been a boy!!!  Than it would show my great-grandson, Carson looking down at his sister... :-)

I used my Silhouette Studio Designing edition to print and cut the image, and printed the sentiment using my Abode Photoshop Elements 7.

Thank you stopping by, and hugs to all.

Winters 2 Skater

A ice skater skating on the pond in the woods!!  I created a shaped card base with the oval and than printed out the silhouette trees and used a oval template, drew the oval around the center of image of trees.  Placed a piece of blue card stock and than cut out the Winters 2 Skater cut file from svgcuttingfiles.com .  Layered a piece of designer paper from http://www.stampinup.com and stamped snowflakes on the paper.

Easy file to work, love, love, love it....
