Brighter Days are Ahead

And I created two cards using the above image and sharing with you today..
..

I apologize for the non-clarity of  the pictures.  Sun has not been shining last two days due to a winter storm warning which resulted in 3-4 inches (?) of snow in this area of Alabama which usually sees a sprinkling or light dusting of the white stuff.  So I took my pictures in house where the lighting is not very good.

Using the image  Brighter Days Are Ahead  I created two cards in springy colors.  The first card, I stamped 'Feel Better' and  I had hopes that the rainbow will give it a cheery look.  I print and cut the image with my Silhouette Studio DE and Cameo; and than colored each image using Stampin! UP markers and Copic markers.  Ribbon bow was created by my bow maker and placed on the card.  One card matting I punched with my scalloped eyelet punch .  Brads and green gemstones used for decorations.

Thank you for coming by to visit with me today, and happy crafting to all.

Snowstorm in Northern Alabama

Just a small layout of what we got Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Northern Alabama.

Layout was created in Photoscape, a free photo editing software that includes layout templates.

Another Friday Layout to share

The above two 12x12 layouts are ready to place photos in the empty spots, and than print and place in a scrapbook.  These two pages I worked on while in El Paso, Texas visiting and helping my son and family as my DT duties was put on hold while there. (No machines, cardstock etc to work with!!)

Now this digital 4x6 layout is completed, just needs to be printed.  But, in this case, I need to order more plastic cover sheets....

The embellishments from various scrapbook kits; and Snowman with Lights I believe from misskatecuttables; and 2014 I loaded the paper into Adobe Photoshop Elments and created a mask of the numbers to give it the newspaper look (thanks to the tutorials over at Pixel Scrapper Digital Scrapbooking).

Thank you for taking time to visit with me, and please visit us at Scrapbook Blessings Club and join us in the monthly challenges.

Challenge # 48 - Baby

Challenge #48 - Baby here at Creative Cutting Challenges for the next two weeks, where we have created anything with a Baby Theme.  I had planned to create a baby mini-album but decided it was a huge project to do within 2 weeks, so with a niece expecting their first little boy I created the overalls in brown, with a duckie on the front.  The top piece of the duckie I cut out of ombre yellow card stock.  I inserted small silve brads in the overall straps and on the pockets to represent buttons.  The pattern did not have cuffs but I included by taking the pocket cuffs and made them longer and placed on lower edge of legs.

The first card is a Girl's dress card.  With this I copied the dress, cut along the waist and cut out a skirt for the dress, with a waistband.  Two buttons down the front under the bow with a pacifier (binkie) attached as if it was pinned under the collar.  Placed two beads on the waistband/belt area; and the word 'Baby" was cut out for the mini-album and didn't feel it matched the front cover, and decided it would work on this dress.  There is a oneies shirt under the dress that a sentiment will be stamped on (this is for my granddaughter as she is expecting a daughter the 4th of July, 2015)

The middle card is a basic card.  The matting is scrapbook digi paper from a scrapbook kit I downloaded and thought this would be cool with a baby bottle layered over the center.  Word "Baby" is wordart, I believe, from Pixel Scrapper Digital Scrapbooking that I printed and than cut and using foam tape placed under the bottle.

Baby Bottle, Duckie and Pacifier can be found at The Creative Pointe section of Cut and Create Store.  Please visit us at Creative Cutting Challenges and join us in the challenges; and take a look see at the design team projects.

Thank you for visiting with me; and have a happy crafting day.

Final Valentine Card - Little Luvbug

Here is two more Valentine Cards using the image Little Luvbug from Sunsational Stamps

Card One

The above card is 4.25x5.50 in size.  Card stock from my stash.  The scalloped ovals cut file from the SilhouetteAmerica Online Store; small silver brads from Stampin! Up.  I used my Silhouette Cameo for printing; and for cutting.

---------------------------------------------------------

 and Card Two

Using same image from
Sunsational Stamps
I created a side fold card using scraps from my stash of paper for decorating the card.  The card base and scalloped ovals from the library of Silhouette Studio DE.  In both cards, I used Stampin! Up Ink markers for coloring.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with us today.  Happy crafting to all.

Love Is In the Air - 2 page layout

Page One
Page Two

Srapbook Kit will be available at Creative Kuts online store soon.  This was the February Scrapbook Kit that was offered to the passengers of the Creative Kuts Choo Choo Train over at Creative Kut's Facebook page.  If you would like to join us as passengers, you will need a invite to the group (closed group) and than inquire of Cheryl or read info on what to do to become a passenger.

Everything is included in the cut file for the two page scrapbook layout.  Only change I made was I loaded the kissing couple into my Make the Cut software, put the pieces together and than saved as a jpeg file.  Once I completed that, I loaded into paint.net and converted to a png file; and than loaded into Cricut Design Space, print and cut and I have a completed couple.  The first page was cut with my Silhoutte Cameo, page two all but the "Is In The Air" cut with my Cricut Explore.  "Is In the Air", to complete the page, I cut with my Cameo!!

Thank you for taking time to visit with me today, and happy crafting to all.

Hoo {Heart} You

Front of Card

Inside of Card
(pop-up card)

This is a 3x4 inch rubber Stamp Set
How adorable is this owl? Great for use on any card or other fun projects!
Stamps are High Quality Photopolymer.   Use them to create favors, cards, scrapbooks, and other craft items.

In my Silhouette Studio DE I ungrouped the png image, so I can use the title for the front of the card. I placed the sentiment on a shadow, and than placed on a print and cut of a ribbon image from one of my scrapbook digital files. I punched a 3 inch circle and placed in lower right corner with the ribbon image over the top edge.  Print and cut the flowers, after creating 3 sizes and placed along the edge of circle.  Added clear gemstones in center of each flower; and 2 beads at the edge of ribbon.

Inside of card I placed the Owl on a branch as a pop-up Owl (the card base, both outside and insider from SilhouetteAmerica Online Store for .99 cents).  Before cutting out the base I printed white card stock to the blue color.  The Owl border came from a paper stack just recently found at our local Wal-mart.

I printed the word "I Do" (in answer Hoo Loves You) on cardstock, and punched out with a tag punch.

Since I used my Copic markers for coloring the Owl, I  placed the image onto a shadow of Owl sitting on a branch (Copics tend to bleed thru to backside).

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today; and take a moment to visit Sunsational Stamps blog for more inspiration from the design team members.  Happy Valentine's Day to all; and happy crafting, too.

Love Bug_Shaker Card

Love Bug Shaker Card by Creative Kuts.
Will be available in her store soon.
Very easy card to cut out and put together (except I boo-booed when adding the black face circle - missed it first time around!! hee, hee).

Base card is white which doesn't show up too well against the  white foam board.  I used a white gel pen and created the stitching around the edges of the word Love.  Also used the same  white gel pen for the eyelashes and the mouth.

Where the shaker card, I left as a frame and stamped 'Happy Valentine's Day', using a stamp from a Stampin! Up set.

Card may be sent to one of my granddaughters in Texas on one of the great greatchild in Indiana...haven't decided yet.

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting; and keep warm to the people up North
.

Ombre Challenge

Using Meljen's Digital Sweet Heart Lollipop I created this card for our February Ombre Challenge:

The one video I watched use a brayer to apply the ombre colors, and since I could not locate my brayer, I used sponges to apply the colors - Blush Pink and Cranberry from Close to My Heart (probably since retired as I had my ink pads for a few years).

I placed a scalloped-edge piece about where the colors changed and placed a ribbon from Stampin! Up collection and created a quick bow.  The flowers was included in February's Card Kit which I placed in the corner.  The hearts from another project and the bigger heart I layer with another heart and centered a bead.

The Sweet Heart Lollipop I colored the Lollipop stick with Red from my collection of Stampin! Up ink markers.  And used pinks from same collection of markers.  The Lollipop itself I used the Pink from Wink of Stella collection.

February Monthly Card Kit

Time for February's Montly Card Kit Hop

I am sharing this with you all, but apologize that it is not included in the video....but I am included in the blog hop and the list is down below...

I came upon this stencil in my stash and decided to create a "Feel Better" card.  I sponged the flower using my Stampin! Up White ink dye and than using the colored dots from the February Monthly Card Kit, I placed in the center.  Stamped "Feel Better" sentiment when there was a crease in matting that I caused when removing mat from card base because it was unevenly placed.  :-(  The flower design paper from the 6x6 pad of paper that came with the kit.

Christmas Card in Red

I am sharing my card for February 1st - and the theme is Red...

Created a standard card size - 4.25x5.50 in red card stock.  I placed a clipart of a Christmas tree with red bows and ornaments on white card stock and typed Merry Christmas in red.  Print 'n cut using my Silhouette Studio DE.  Matted on washi green cardstock from Stampin! Up and than placed onto the red cardstock.  The Christmas gifts stickers, from Walmart, El Paso, TX, was placed at bottom of tree.

Stopped by Christmas Cards All Year 'Round and take a look at what the design team has created, and join in the fun challenge.

Thank you for visiting with me and happy crafting to all.
