Good morning to my friends out in blog land.  I created a cute little card using one image from Annabelles Garden Basket .  I love these images and will be creating Note Cards using the six images in the set when I get back from Texas.

File used: Annabellas Garden Basket. Created a card base using Silhouette Designer Edition and the Cameo to cut. Print and cut Annabelle. Bird was stamped and colored with Stampin Up markers and Wink of Stella Brush ‪#‎GL‬ Blue 030. Button added with saying "Oh Happy Day".

What's In The Basket?

Good morning, and I apologize for not posting here the past 2 weeks because my son and family are visiting me, and after 2 years of not seeing them, I am spending as much time as I can with them and the granddaughters before they head for his next duty base - Fort Bliss, Texas.

First I created a shaped card using the Bunny Bear with Basket full of M&M's and than print 'n cut the Bear Bunny, colored with my Copic and Bic markers.  I printed the image a second time, and hand cut the basket out and placed foam tape and layered the basket on first image.

Thank you for stopping by, and come on over to Sunsational Stamps  for more inspiration from out DT's.

Happy crafting to all, and hugs to all.

Creative Cutting Challenge - Spring

Race Car Sets with Numbers

It is Spring time and we're ask to create something with a spring theme; and with NASCAR starting in Spring season, I chose to create a layout with Creative Pointe's Race Car with Numbers .

Supplies used:
  • Race track itself from a Google search of the Internet
  • The borders, checkered flags and title from SilhouetteAmerica online store
  • I created the checkered border photo mat using the smallest border and welded them into a square.
  • Cars with numbers from Race Car with Numbers set
  • The silver dots are liquid pearls (had the cars placed on scrap mat so couldn't insert small silver brads for the centers.)
Number one is the lead card, and 2 and 4 ages of my great-grandchildren...

Thank you for stopping by, and head on over to Creative Cutting Challenges and check out the DT's choices for Spring; and join in with us in this challenge.  Hugs and happy crafting to all.

Thursday, Product-Software Review

Good morning - Carolyn here with a software preview for you all on Thursday Product Review.  Several weeks ago this new software, Make the Cut Pop-up Card Studio was introduced and I decided to take the plunge and purchased the software and, after watching several videos by Susan Bluerobot have created several pop-up cards, but show casing this Bear dressed as a Bunny.  TIP: in learning a new software, be patient with yourself, and watch the videos over and over, if need be.

Bear Bunny Easter Card

Card insert create by Make the Cut Pop Up Card Studio

Over in my Silhouette Studio Design Edition, I open up the Bunny Bear, grass and eggs svg files and with the Bunny Bear, I placed all pieces to form the Bunny Bear image, and done the same with the eggs.  Grass was no problem!!  These pieces can print 'n cut using the Silhouette Cameo cutting machine, or with the Brother's ScanNCut machine which I am hoping to try after my visit with my son and family visiting me before they head on to Ft Bliss, Texas (for the next 3 years).

This will be what the pop-up card will look like when I finalize it.  The Bear Bunny will be print 'n cut and than placed onto the pop-up insert (on the pop-up Bear background).  The grass is hinged onto the base, so I will place the eggs and grass once it's all together. (That is why, in the picture, the eggs and grass placed to the right side).  Plus the eggs svg file, will not show up in colors.

Thank you for stopping to visit with me, and happy crafting to all.

Easter Bunny Card

One of the Thursday Treats from Creative Kuts. and the eyebrows and mouth from Peachy Keen Stamps.  The eyelashes I drew in myself along with the white highlights in the bunny's eyes.  The sentiment title  from SilhouetteAmerica online store which I chose to print 'n cut using Silhouette Design Edition and the Cameo for cutting.  Using CTMH inkpad, Pink and a small finger dauber, I created the blushed cheeks.

Now to create the next Easter card and than place into the mail for my great-grandchildren in Indiana.  Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today; and happy crafting to all.

Pretty trees in bloom at Huntsville, AL

Spring has arrived in  Alabama.  This was taken on April 2nd at the Heart Center in Huntsville, Alabama from 2nd floor of the parking garage.

Challenge #89 Fancy Fold Cards (Must Always use an Image)

Good morning from Alabama.  I am late with my posting, have to say I completely forgot.  Having some long awaited company coming in this week and been working on cleaning up my craft supplies laying about on the dining room table and love seat, that it just slipped my mine.

Here is my inspirational piece for Pattie's Creations Challenge

          2 Green gemstones
          Embellishments from my personal stash

Using Crayola color markers, acrylic block and a aqua brush, I colored the Blackeyed Susans.  Matted the 4"x5" piece with a card stock from stash, and placed the sentiment across the bottom of imate.

Also Penny Duncan of  Penny Duncan Creation  has a free svg cut file of one of the three that was shown in the Stamping School video.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all. xoxo

Thank You So Much Note Card

Good Saturday morning, DT Carolyn here with a card project

Using the image from Flower Garden Paper Piecing set I created a border of flowers on lower edge of card.  Rounded the corners, and stamped 'Thank you So Much' sentiment and punched out using a small scalloped punch.

I watercolerd the image with Crayola watercolors and the grass I used a file in my Silhouette Studio library.  The butterflies print n cut from a file by Paper Garden Projects named 'Nurture'.  A ribbon from SU was placed on the top, and using my bow maker, I created the bow and glue dot it to the ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by and check out the store at  Sunsational Stamps store  and Scrapping With Lisa Desings.  Happy crafting to you all.

Saturday, Anything Goes

Hi, Carolyn here with another crafty Saturday, and I have been working on one-page layouts for the great grandkids albums; and since my granddaughter decorated her daughter's room with Ladybugs, I created a layout with ladybugs and flowers.

TIP:  when using spray adhesive be careful that residue does not get on front of piece being glued; if so use one of the embellishments to 'hide' the look of the glue.

Supplies used:
  • Silhouette Design Edition software used for cutting pieces
  • Big brads given to me from my sister
  • ribbon from my stash
  • 12x12 cardstock from Joann Fabrics
  • The layout file from
I enjoyed creating this layout and actually have another ladybug layout in the works.  Thank you for stopping to visit with me today,  Happy crafting, and hugs to all xoxo

Bobby Pop-up PnC Card

Supplies used:
  • Scrap Factory SVG Doll Builder software
  • Baseball embellishments from Cricut Craft Room
  • Make the Card Pop-Up Card Studio
First I created the boy doll in Scrap Factory SVG Doll Builder which was created as a svg file, and saved to my directory on my laptop.  In Make the Cut software I  placed the hair, clothing, baseball bat with ball and than blacked it out so I can copy and paste the blackout to Popup Card Studio where I created the above.  I saved/rendered as a svg cut file which was saved and than I brought up in Make the Cut.

Here I placed the boy pieces together onto the card and came up with this:

The Happy Birthday Slugger I created in Make the Cut using a font from the font library.  When I cut out this card as a print and cut, I will merge the svg file into my Silhouette Design Studio software where I will perform the print and cut from there (I have problems performing this cut  from Make the Cut and SCAL!!).  I may create this card for my great-grandson's 4th birthday in October and will post the finished card at that time.

Happy crafting friends, and hugs to all xoxo.

April's Card Kit #1

Here is my card that I created, using the April Kit from Scrapping For Less Facebook Group..  I did add one embellishment that was not included in the kit - the butterfly in the corner.  The butterfly is from the Nurture scrapbook kit from Paper Gardens Projects.

I love this cute little kit and great fun to work with.  Stay tune for more projects to come in the next few months.  And check out the video of the DT's  April Kit projects at Scrapbook Blessing Club and more details about how to order, etc.

Happy Crafting to all.
