A Birthday Card

I have a stash of cards that has been started and never completed, so got them out of the closet and will work on when I have time between my Design Team duties.  Here is a birthday card that I finished and will send to my step-granddaughter, Brittany Lynne this coming week....

The stamping of the sentiment was done backwards but looks cute .

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me and hope all had a great Easter Day with family.  Hugs to all.

Free file from Miss Kate Cuttables has been uploaded in the Freebie section.

Here is my Easter Card that I created for a swap, and sharing  in this Easter Blog Hop.  The card base, I believe it's called 'Fancy label' card base, was purchased at the SilhouetteAmerica online store ...took me several long searches to find this card base.  *smile*.

The Bunny in a Basket I saved to my computer from My Memories Suite Scrapbooking software, and placed on my Silhouette Cameo Studio Design edition and print and cut the piece.  The egg is from a collection from http://www.platypuscreekdigitals.com in the digital stamp section.  I colored the egg with my Bic markers.  Grass was purchased from SilhouetteAmerica online store, enlarged it a tad-bit and stamped the sentiment 'Happy Easter' with a stamp from http://www.stampinup.com.

You are off and hopping to Amy's (here) Amy - http://aimitup.blogspot.com/

TSC Flower Teapot

TSC Flower Teapot

Yesterday was my day of completing some projects and getting the kitchen table cleaned up from all the clutter of my crafting supplies.  I first merge this into my Silhouette Cameo Studio Design edition software and created a card base.  First welded the two images together and than offset the image to give it more room to place the original image on.

Using my Copic markers I colored and blended the colors to color in the image.  I used a small stamp from http://www.stampinup.com for the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by to visit, and hugs to all.

Baby Girl Mini-album

This is page 2 of the mini-album ... I created a waterfall card and attached to the left side as the binding rings will be on the opposite end.  I cut the little duckie from a file I just recently created and placed a gem for the eye.

I used a file from http://www.svgcuttingfiles.com that was a freebie to me when I was on the design team.  And the paper came from Joann Fabrics in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The above 2 pages not finished yet.  I will be placing on poster board once I get to the dollar store to get a supply of them.

Almost finished with this Baby Girl Mini-Album.  Have the final page to cut out and create and I waiting on a order from http://www.peachykeenstamps.com for the face.  The title mat is part of http://www.creativepointe.com collection.

It is a fun and easy project to work on. Once I get the poster board for pages 3, 4 and the back cover, I will finish and post here the final results.  Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

New listing added to Cut and Create Store

Baby Combo Pkg has been added to the Cut and Create Store for purchasing.

A cute file for use in a Baby scrapbook album or mini-album.  For personal use only.

Thank you for stopping by the store, and check out what I have to offer.  Hugs to all of you today.

Last project for/with the Design Team for Stamp-n-doodles

Over at Stamp-n-doodles.blogspot.com the challenge is Something to do with Easter and I created this card using a digital stamp from their store at http://www.stamp-n-doodles.com.  I used my Bic markers to color in the image and a Copic marker for the face and hand.  Stamped Happy Easter sentiment and layered on Fancy label mats.

I have stepped down from the Design Team due to  time restraints...I am planning to, hopefully, go to my only grandson's graduation June 2, 2013 and have been working on a graduation mini-album for part of his gift.  And soon will be flower planting time here in Alabama (no veggie garden this year though).

So the above project will be my final one for the Design Team.  I have enjoyed working with the friendly girls over at Stamp-n-doodles, and wish them the best.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

Bunny Swap

Above card is one of four that is in a Bunny Swap over at Crafty Swaps and Challenges Facebook fan page.

I print and cut 4 Easter Bunnies in a Basket, used the egg digital stamp from http://www.platypuscreekdigitals.com and printed and cut this with my Silhouette Cameo and colored with my Bic markers.  The grass svg and card base shape is from SilhouetteAmerica online store (I done some l-o-n-g searching for this particular card shape!!!).

Thank you for stopping by, and check back tomorrow for my final project with Stamp-n-doodles DT.

Wanda Widow

Wanda Widow
I am finding that I am having so much fun over over at The Stamping Chef creating cards, etc from Tamara's beautiful art work.  This is Wanda Widow that I colored in blacks and grays using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (I love 'em) and used a spider web border from SilhouetteAmerica's online store.  I had cut it out 2x's and snipped one of the spiders off the web and placed in the corner.  I used a acrylic stamp purchased at Wal-mart on white cardstock, and punched with my 1 3/8 hole punch and placed on the one side.  Placed 2 brads on opposite side and the two bottom corners was punched with my photo end punch.

Head on over to http://thestampingchef.oo.gd and check out Tamara's art work.  And she is adding to the store daily/weekly so check store each week for the new additions.  Also stop by her blog at http://thestampingchef.wordpress.com.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

DT Call at Stampin Dragon

I am applying for a position on the Design Team with Stampin Design.  I create cards, scrapbook layouts, mini-albums, altered books which are created for grandchildren from ages 8 through 22.  I use digital stamps, some but very few rubber stamps, and have been using digital papers with my mini-albums.  My embellishments are cut out with my Silhouette Cameo where I have learn how to print and cut the digital stamp, sketch the digital stamp, create card bases for the card or the mats.  I enjoy crafting.  I also quilt and will be creating two quilts for granddaughters ... one getting married in August and the other .. not date has been set that I know of.

Here is examples of my working with digital stamps included....

Creative Cutting Challenge Anything Goes - Bowling 2-page layout

Page 1 of 2 page layout

Page 2 of a 2 page layout

Using A Bowling file from Creative Pointe, I created a 2-page layout of my granddaughter bowling and on page one you will see her bowing to the her loved ones because she made a spare.....
Bowling pins borders, Let's Roll! title and bowler in the left hand corner of page one, and right corner of page 2 from Creative Pointe designs.  The frame is my creation, combining bowling ball and pin to the frame and layered over a photo.
Going with the same borders on page 2, and the bowler in right corner from Creative Pointe, I also matted the photo of happy granddaughter.  The title is a purchased file from another svg company (can't remember as I purchase a lot of files here and there) and placed bowling balls at the end of each top border of bowling pins.

Check out the Design Teams beautiful work at http://www.creativingcuttingchallenges.blogspot.com and add your creations for a chance to win a prize.

Easter ... Anything but a Card Challenge #28

A Easter Basket filled with Easter Eggs for Easter gift giving or decorating the home, school or office.

The template for the basket was found while viewing blogs and she suggested if we have a Cricut or Silhouette Came we could convert to a cutting file which I done in SCAL3 ....I cut out in poster board for stability and than cut out the template in card stock and sprayed glue the two pieces together.

Both the circular scalloped label, bunny and Easter Egg digital available at:

PlatypusCreekDigitals ... Bunny under cutting files tab and the Easter Egg/sentiment in her digital section.

Layout Challenge

One page layout of my granddaughter dressed for her first Semi-formal Dance.  I used two patterned papers, a border punch along the edge of paper, a doily to place the photo into and the sentiment purchased from SilhouetteAmerica online store.  Three buttons to accent the doily.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

Freebies are being listed on my Freebies page

To clean up the clutter, I will be listing the freebie of my own creations, and the ones I am sharing from Facebook under the tab marked  'Shared Freebies from Facebook and My Creations'
from today on.  When I do list/post a freebie, I will post here a notification as well and than you  go select the tab and you will find the free file there.  And since I have Fastwagon for my store business, the free files will be here, but you will be click on the image and it will take you to checkout through Fastwagon.com ....

Also, the free files I find on Facebook will be limited to 1 day so you will only have the day of posting to obtain the free file.  My own creations will be unlimited but I feel that I should only limit the free files from Miss Kate Cuttables and Paper Piecing by Nikki for only 1 day since this is their policy.

New releases at The Stamping Chef

Good morning... peeps....I would like to share with you two new releases at The Stamping Chef store....

Retro Girl

This is the Retro Girl...from the Hippie era....using my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, I placed her on the mat, traced around her, and than cut her out using the PnC technique.  And since this is from the 70-80's era, I printed out 'Love' and placed on a oval label and inserted two flowers on each end with a bronze colored brad.  I layered her onto paper with the Peace symbol on it and layered onto a shape card.

...............................

 Ally O'Malley

This is the second image to be released on March 12th.  I used Sukura gel-pens to color in the top and my Copic markers for her jeans/shorts.  I layered mats onto a black card base, and placed a ribbon across her mid-section.  Printed and punched out a Birthday wishes tag.

Thank you for stopping by, and blessings to you all.

Mirror Mirror --- Mother's Day Challenge

Mirror Mirror

will be available at:

This was really cute to cut out and create.  Here is what I done:

I loaded the image into my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, traced it to remove the white background, and than printed it on my HP printer.  Once it was printed, I placed on a mat and inserted into my Cameo for cutting out...actually just made sure the cut style was selected first, and than cut around.  First make sure the registration marks is selected so the Cameo can locate it to cut correctly.

Using my Spectrum Noir markers I colored in shades of blue with the shoes and belt colored black and than filled in with a black gel-pen to hopefully give it the patent look.

I'm not sure what software I used to create the card base and the 2 mats but it's a oval shape card base and the oval frame mats  layered onto the card.  The standing mirror I found on the SilhouetteAmerica.com online store.

Placing the mirror onto the card stock with the oval frame mats centered over it, I than placed the image on foam tape to the right.  While in Wal-mart shopping, I located the ribbon flowers in the ribbon section of the sewing department, purchased some cute ones, and placed the two ribbons flowers onto the lower left of the frame mat.  The swirly flouish, located on my SSDE software, I made it smaller and cut out and placed onto the top left of the mat.

I did not place a sentiment on the front...thought it looked great without.  It would make a great card for birthdays or Mother's Day...for someone special in you life.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all on this dreary rainy day.

Sous Chef - The Stamping Chef DT

I

Mimi Digital Stamp

where I have been selected to join the Design Team mainly working with her new releases that come out weekly.  But this week we are creating cards in place of a new release this week, and since this is my first card and first image from The Stamping Chef I chose Mimi digital image.  I used my new Spectrum Noir markers to color in the image.  The flowers I made some time back after watching a video on youtube.com and I apologize for not knowing the creator of the video.

I brought up the digital image into my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition to print and cut and placed on a blackout cut out.    I placed the flowers, image and sentiment on a scalloped circle that is placed over a circular card base.  Leaves are from the Make the Cut gallery. Cardstock is from Joann's Fabrics Scrapbook section and the design paper from my scrap stash.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

Creative Cutting Challenges - Easter Card

Easter Card #1

Card #1 is from the Easter Bunny Set by Creative Pointe.  I first created a card base with flowers down the side ... I took the flower pieces and copied and welded to the right side.  I laid the card base on the virtual mat in SCAL3 and typed the sentiment "Hoppy EAster" and placed on the section and than using a pen instead of the blade, I printed the sentiment.  Than I colored in the sentiment with Sakura Gel-pens.  Cut the Easter Bunny, grass (from my Silhouette Studio library) and eggs and placed on this card.  The centers of the flowers, I punched out using a regular hole hand punch and than colored them with yellow Sakura gel-pens.  Brads could've been used but would be bulky for mailing purposes.

Easter Card #2

Card #2 is from A Cute Bunny that I received when I was on her Design Team and really like the image.  This time the card base was created length wise with the fold at the top and printed the same sentiment at the top of front of card.  Placed the Cute Bunny on the grass with a Easter Basket full of eggs.  The eggs was printed on my Cameo using a black pen and than colored in with my Stampin Up markers and used cleared gel-pen on the eggs.

These cards will be for my great granddaughter and great grandson this Easter season.

Thank you for stopping by to visit, and hugs to all.
